Women's Optimal Health Framework

Treating People...Not Conditions.

The Women’s Optimal Health Framework promotes OPTIMAL HEALTH for every stage of a woman’s life – from the very youngest to the oldest – and everyone in between!
It focuses on individuals and their wellness, not simply conditions and diseases, because we believe every woman and girl has intrinsic value and deserves the very opportunity for health and thriving.
The Framework is filled with high-impact, low-cost, effective interventions to support improved personal and population health.
The Framework is created for use by both policy makers and practitioners, including
  • Government Ministries
  • Health System Administrators
  • Public Health Leaders
  • Clinicians and Community Health Workers
  • Policy Officials
  • Community Leaders
The Women’s Optimal Health Framework is filled with reliable and evidence-based
  • RESEARCH to support excellent health policy,
  • RESOURCES to equip health practitioners.
We are eager for you to review this Framework.
We are eager to partner with you to craft an implementation plan for the Framework in your country.
Together, we CAN improve health for women and girls.
