What We Do

What We Do

The Institute for Women's Health is a policy and programmatic institute that identifies high-impact solutions to promote women’s health and thriving. IWH eagerly partners with individuals, organizations, and countries that promote the highest attainable health and well-being for women through every stage of their lives.

Improving health for women cannot wait. This work is too important. But it cannot be accomplished alone.

The Institute for Women’s Health is committed to building coalitions that revolutionize women’s access to care. These coalitions include a variety of foreign entities and governments around the world which have diverse interests but share a mutual commitment to improve and protect the health of women. The Institute’s commitment to working with these entities and sharing these commitments should not be interpreted to be a blanket endorsement of all activities or pronouncements of all entities with which we work.

Partnerships We Support

These partnerships reflect nations’ commitment to better health and thriving for women and families, and to overcome the obstacles that stand in the way. Joint statements and alliances demonstrate nations’ agreements and policy stances on issues of import.

The Institute for Women’s Health (IWH) created Protego, a 4-part model to help equip  countries to promote flourishing for all.

Our vision is to see nations implement diplomatic, legal, health, and education policies that are fully consistent with their  commitment to value women, families, life, and sovereignty.
